CSR Bangers is a blog run by youths in Penang which seek to educate youths and newly graduates who have just entered the workforce about the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility. We believe that the first step in addressing the lack of CSR awareness among Malaysians should be by educating youths; both working and still in university and to try and stimulate them intellectually.

What CSR Bangers is not …

… a news portal of CSR in Malaysian news …

Currently due to restricted resources (we work too you know!) it will be very hard for CSR Bangers to be an effective compiler of news and articles. Plus, there are websites such as CSR Malaysia and CSR Asia (check the links) which provide a great source of news and information about CSR in the Asian region.

… a formal business-like website/blog …

The last thing we would want, is for CSR Bangers to be all prim and proper and all corporate like. We already work in office for far too many hours. It is certainly not going to be carried out on to our blog.

What CSR Bangers IS …

… a blog where opinions and discussion on CSR takes place …

We will write opinions and articles concerning CSR whether it is related here in Malaysia or internationally from a youth’s perspective.

Also, instead of being a news portal, we will link certain articles or quote from books and write opinions on the subject matter at hand.
